Jang Ja Yeon's former manager gives statement on ongoing sexual assault case

AKP STAFF

Jang Ja Yeon's former manager Yoo has given his statement on her ongoing sexual assault case.

As previously reported, Jang Ja Yeon left a written testimony of the sexual assault she endured by the hands of entertainment executives and businessmen before her suicide in March of 2009, and her manager Yoo was the first who shed light on her writings. On the April 30th installment of JTBC's 'Newsroom', Yoo reportedly told police, "The first list Jang Ja Yeon wrote had details of the severe sexual abuse she endured, but I told her to remove that part. Afterwards, she removed it and wrote her testimony again. I cannot name the people who sexually abused her."

However, two weeks after his statement to police, Yoo contacted the investigation committee to state, "Jang Ja Yeon said something similar as Ha So Yeon said in the past, but I didn't ask her about it again." It was also reported police had received other statements by those who know information on Jang Ja Yeon's case.

"I cannot name the people who sexually abused her."

its strange why he cannot name that person, who is this mysterious POWERFUL person that seems so untouchable by the LAW in Korea? If the Koreans can even BRING DOWN the Korean President, why are they so afraid of this person?

Manager Yoo doesn't give a crap about her and only used her for his own gain.

At the time the note was written his new agency was gearing up for lawsuits brought by his former agency over the other two actresses one of which is a witness defected with him before there contracts were up. Many including her family think he pressured and maybe even threatened her into detailing her abuse in order to use it against his former boss. Using someone else's tragedy for your own gain is lower then low, and considering his obstruction of the case including not handing over the document making the police rely on the already published pieces of the document and refusing to answer questions more then once including at the beginning of the case he's doing just that. But he is in good company at least, actress Yoon is also despicable for doing it. If she really wants justice she should stop being so uncooperative with police which they say she has will not name all on the list even though she says she has seen it and helping the investigation instead of using the tragedy to promote her book.

No doubt in my mind Yeon was abused but they are muddying the waters with questionable statements that are most certainly being used to capitalize on abuse and suicide.
