Exy revealed she was almost kicked out of Cosmic Girls before their debut.

On the May 14th installment of 'One Pick Road', Cosmic Girls' leader Exy was asked if she was ever addicted to one kind of food, and she responded, "Yes, there is. It's a food that's like a friend to me. Something I've eaten since I was a trainee. During my trainee days, I once walked for an hour because I felt guilty after this food. I also gained a lot of weight because I ate so much of it, and I was almost kicked out."

Exy then revealed the food she was addicted to was tteokbokki, saying, "I really love tteokbokki. I'll put my name on it that I'll visit every tteokbokki place in the world one day."
