Former 'Produce 48' contestant Go Yoo Jin rumored to have moved to IZ*ONE Kang Hye Won's label

AKP STAFF

Fans think that former 'Produce 48' contestant Go Yoo Jin may have moved to a new agency - 8D Creative!

Goo Yoo Jin, who finished as rank #31 on 'Produce 48' under the label Block Berry Creative, was nicknamed "Human 'Rumor'" during her 'Produce 48' days for her aptitude to the show's concept survival round track "Rumor".

Some time back on April 14, an unofficial account named @8D_GIRLS appeared on Twitter, listing a total of 3 trainees who are allegedly training under 8D Creative. As many of you know, 8D Creative is home to IZ*ONE member Kang Hye Won!

The other female trainees rumored to be under "8D GIRLS" include 1999-born Kim Miri and 2003-born Moon Ye Yeon. What does this mean?

Some fans suspect that after IZ*ONE's contract expires in 2021, Kang Hye Won will return to her label 8D Creative and join the 8D GIRLS in a new girl group. However, the 8D GIRLS Twitter account in question remains an unconfirmed one.

Meanwhile, Go Yoo Jin also recently graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School.

I sincerely hope she will move agencies, for a couple of reasons. For one, Blockberry Creative, while a good company, is still fairly new and doing their very best with Loona/LOOΠΔ. She honestly would have been great in that group, but since they already have so many members, I feel like it would have been overkill to add one more. That being said, I think it might be a while before Blockberry debuts a new group. She's beautiful and has a good presence on stage, so there's no reason for her not to be in a group. I wish her well, I couldn't understand why she wasn't more popular on Produce 48, but I'm certain the same can be said for many individuals (both male and female) on the Produce shows.

If this is true, I wish all the best for her. BBC was actually only made for the group LOONA, the CEO had a vision and the company was created to support the idea of LOONA. While they may be thinking of adding more groups to their universe, it won't be for a long time. Also, most new companies produce groups between 4 to 5 years unlike more veteran companies who produce groups within a 2 to 3 year time span from their last group. Yoojin would have to wait at least four years to debut under BBC and even then, it's a shaky choice to stay even if she really wanted to stay there. Just because BBC succeeded in creating LOONA doesn't mean they'll succeed again. Especially since LOONA is such an intricate group, people will be wanting something that is the same standard or higher which will be high to achieve.
