BTS dethrone BLACKPINK with their 'Boy With Luv' track

BTS recently dropped their 'Map of Soul: Persona' album as well as their 'Boy With Luv feat. Halsey' M/V and have received enormous attention as well a shocking series of great achievements.

BLACKPINK is also one of the many K-Pop groups to have recently released their recent comeback M'V and album 'Kill This Love' which had broken BTS' previous record of the most viewed and liked M/V of all time. However, BTS' recent comeback received 3 million liked in the first 2 hours and 30 minutes since the release of 'Boy With Luv feat. Halsey' whereas, BLACKPINK took 8 hours 23 minutes to reach this number. Similarly, BTS proudly took 2 hours and 51 minutes to reach 10 million views, surpassing BLACKPINK and becoming the first K-Pop artists with the M/V that reached 10 million views the fastest.

Even on Vlive they got those 3 or 4 millions view easily.. The apps is not popular for non kpop fans.. So Youtube will get them higher n faster of course for likes..

Their hype is totally different. And they are on another level in Hollywood right now.. Even usual latenight MC mention them if it fits cause how well known they are.. Just saying.. Especially they are currently there.. So the hype is even bigger..

As proud as I am of these seven men, the amount hypocrisy of all of the people that said YG bought Blackpink's views or that the only thing Blinks had to be proud of were YouTube streams is honestly heartbreaking. You admire these people but witness others break them down. And you get so angry but you know all the fight you put up is pointless. Two groups. Two Gen 3 groups at that, are at the top of their respective sexes and all their fans can seem to do is try to dismantle one another... I love BTS so much but I feel like I have support BP harder just because of the attacks they get. It's like, BP did THAT and BTS outdid THEM. Those two things are monumentous and should be celebrated. They're both record breakers. But what do we do in their honor? We humiliate that hard work. I really wish that if people simply did not like BP they would just move on. Because waking up this morning to see everything they got attacked for last week, celebrated this week [with BTS] honestly just makes me wish I stuck with American music only...

Anyways, I hope they both continue to thrive. BTS has not only solidified their place as the biggest boy group in current kpop but the biggest boy group worldwide. Their legacy is at its peak now. And Blackpink is getting to the peak of their own. Internationally, a girl group hasn't been this popular since maybe Pussycat Dolls. Nonetheless, I hope they both continue to rise. 3rd Gen needs to make its official stamp before passing on the baton to 4th Gen, some who have already debuted. And I also hope that their fans mature. Because no ones accomplishments should be question until it's convenient not to. It's not right. If you don't like them move on, but I can't imagine the heartbreak of doing that to a fan that was just as excited as I was. And I especially can't imagine how the artists will feel if they sit down one day to read what we do to each other.
