AKP STAFF

On March 7, one exclusive media report claimed that former AKB48 member and former 'Produce 48'  Japanese contestant Takeuchi Miyu signed on with Korean entertainment agency Mystic Entertainment

After participating on 'Produce 48', Takeuchi Miyu announced her graduation from AKB48 in September of lat year. In light of another former AKB48/'Produce 48' member, Takahashi Juri, recently signing on with Woollim Entertainment, Takeuchi Miyu drew the focus of the media by arriving in Korea back on March 6.

But in response to the above claims, a representative from Mystic Entertainment told news outlets, "Takeuchi Miyu's contract with Mystic has yet to be confirmed. We plan to reveal more information after looking further into the matter."

Also on March 6, it was noted that fellow AKB48 member Goto Moe answered when asked about Takeuchi Miyu's visit to Korea, "She must be in Korea to sign her contract, right? I believe that it's been decided. I personally know which company but..."

Do you want to see Takeuchi Miyu sign with Mystic Entertainment?

I think she fits with Mystic. Mystic Entertainment gives freedom to their artists to make their own music, and I think that is Miyu's dream.
