Kang Daniel's lawyer recently appeared on the March 11 episode of MBC's 'Section TV' to talk about the idol's current legal dispute with his agency, including rumors that Big Bang's Seungri was somehow involved.

Previously, Korean press outlets stated that Kang Daniel was being backed by a Hong Kong woman in her forties, and that she was the same person as an affluent Taiwanese woman who invested in Burning Sun. Some reports even shared that Seungri had introduced the woman to him and was indirectly responsible for Kang Daniel's current dispute.

However, the lawyer was quick to state that Seungri was not involved at all.

"Kang Daniel has never hung out with Seungri or been to Burning Sun at all. Even when Seungri attended Wanna One's concert, he only attended as a senior idol," he explained. "We're currently checking all the rumors, and we'll be taking legal action as soon as it's all settled."

Meanwhile, the lawyer added that he and Kang Daniel are currently doing the best they can to ensure he will resume regular activities as an entertainer.
