Choi Jong hun was released after 21 hours of investigation at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on the 16th.  

When he was asked several questions by reporters he gave short curt answers.  A reporter asked him if he had a relationship with the Chief of Police he answered, "That's irrelevant.  I've made a statement to the Police."  When asked, "Do you accept the charges involving hidden camera?" he answered, "No I'm sorry." 

"When asked whether "he gave bribes, distributed illegal footage, who he received the "birthday" message from and if he shared the videos to the other F.T Island members," he replied, "no I did not" and headed to his prepared car and didn't respond to any other questions from reporters. 

The former F.T Island member is currently under investigation for ties to head of police due to a drunk driving report where he was driving drunk that was mysteriously handled.  He received a message from someone in the police department in the katalk chatroom at that time that said, "Happy Birthday." 

Police believe this is a message from the police officer to whom he had ties with that "took care" of the drunk driving incident.
