MOMOLAND‘s agency confirmed that Daisy and Taeha will not be participating in their upcoming album, “Show Me”.
They explained that they decided to skip out on promotions due to their health and personal reasons. They will return back to the group starting with the next album after “Show Me”.
“MOMOLAND will be making a comeback as a 7-member group after deciding that members Taeha and Daisy will take a break due to health and personal reasons.
They will rejoin the group starting with the next album promotion.”
Although the agency did not release specific details into why Daisy and Taeha will be taking a break, many fans began speculating that MLD is punishing Daisy for her recent dating scandal with iKON’s Yunhyeong.
Just last month, news reports claimed Daisy had been dating Yunhyeong for the past 3~4 months. MLD confirmed the news while YG denied it, confusing fans to which agency was telling the truth.
As Daisy is restricted from dating in her contract, fans speculate that her agency chose to punish her for the commotion.
Despite fans’ wild speculations, MOMOLAND will be making a comeback with its 7 members on March 20.
