Korean film 'The Villainess' to be remade into American TV series by Skybound

Korean action-crime film 'The Villainess' (2017), which starred Kim Ok Bin, Shin Ha Gyun, Sung Joon, Kim Seo Hyung, and more, will be remade into an American TV series!

The series will be produced and distributed by multi-platform entertainment Skybound, as the story is reborn into one revolving a Los Angeles woman born and raised to be a killer. 

Previously, 'The Villainous' also premiered at the 79th 'Cannes Film Festival' as an official, midnight screening invitation film. Check out the announcement below!

Yet again my home Country cannot think of anything original and just remake and copy. -_-. This is like the 50th time in a row (exaggeration, it's like the 5th time). It's getting annoying now.

There are only so many ideas out there. Think of it as a compliment to the quality and popularity of the film. When people hear that a film/tv series they like is a remake of another country's, then they might check out the original and get hooked on. That's a good thing. The trade goes both ways, too. Korea remade Suits, among other drama series. It's a good thing
