IU cast in tvN drama 'Hotel Deluna'

IU has been cast in another leading drama role.

A drama insider reported that she has been cast in tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Hotel Deluna'. The drama will air starting in the summer, and is a fantasy drama about a ghost hotel. The hotel itself looks run down, but reveals its true luxurious image to ghosts. 

IU will be playing Jang Man Wol, a woman who had committed a severe crime in her past life and has been confined to her room for a long time. Her crime is supposed to be the worst in 1000 years, and she has not been able to leave because there has been no one who caused a worse crime. Her character's personality is rude, self-centered, and easily doubting.

The drama will air in August.
