Jang Kiha reveals he recommended the disbandment of Jang Kiha and the Faces

Jang Kiha shared the story behind Jang Kiha and the Faces' disbandment. 

On the December 5 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star,' Jang Kiha shared, "The disbandment is true but we haven't disbanded yet." 

The band plans to officially disband after their year-end concert. Jang Kiha commented, "I personally prefer the expression 'completion' (rather than 'disbandment')."

He also revealed, "I recommended it first. A thought came to my mind while preparing the 5th album. The album was so good. I felt like I did everything I wanted to do musically. The 6 of us will be going our separate ways starting on January 1."

Prior to the release of the 5th album, Jang Kiha and the Faces announced they will be disbanding on December 31. The band debuted with "Cheap Coffee" in 2008.

No shit it was JKH's idea to disband. It's like I said when the news first broke. The well of creativity has essentially dried up for the band and JKH knows that he's the only famous one in the band so he wants to go do his own thing and not have to carry the rest of the band like he has since they became popular.
