i dont actually think big hit will have the highest growth.... they already grew so much this year that it would be hard to have the highest again because that means they will have to beat out JYP who grew by over 100% this year (among others) with big hit already making such a large amount of money- growing by over 100% would be nearly impossible. and with BTS at their peak right now, unless they have another group debut in 2019 that has the exact same success, it would be hard to pull off. there is only so much money to be had from one group. so unless he plans on having them tour EVERY SINGLE DAY next year, they can't earn that much more money than they did this year.

Well people have said the same thing in 2017 but look at what bts achieved in 2018. They will do better in 2019 so just watch out. Bts is not an ordinary group like exoflop who only peak once then continue flopping. Lmao

stupid antis.... everything got to be about hating on others right? so pathetic.

literally no one said that about bts in 2017 by the way... people who study economy and all even made theories about how much they thought bts would bring in if their success continued (they did so again this year). so i don't know who you think said something about bts's finances in 2017 but sis... it's just not true.

stop trying to take everything like it's a slap in the face to BTS. sometimes facts are required. and fact is it would be EXTREMELY difficult for Big Hit to grow past 100% again. but that is nothing bad about bts. it's just business and money. SMH

So best means the most popular... I get it when it's fans voting, they just vote for their biases, but producers should know better.

It's pretty obvious, look at the "best" songs. I like iKON and "Love Scenario" a lot, but it's definitely not the best song of the year. Same with DDU-DU DDU-DU. Are they the best songs of the whole year, composition-wise? (or lyrics-wise.) Come on, let's be real, they chose the popular stuff.

i think NCT Simon says and Baby don't stop, RED VELVET Bad boy and MAMAMOO Starry night and N'UEST Dejavu should have been on the list of best songs of 2018.

I actually don't like fake love or du ddu ddu especially ddu ddu ddu and nct producer should have been on the list. Nct songs are so amazing and unique.

Why only popular group songs are here? List is kinda wierd. RED VELVET , MAMAMOO and NCT did so much different concepts this year they should have been on best artist list.

nu'est is quickly becoming one of the top groups in korea/asia and are bringing in a lot of money right now. they will probably have a world tour next year, along with more tours from seventeen, etc. so all that measn growth and money for pledis

A lot of people think that Pledis is gonna have a huge 2019. NU'EST are going to be officially reunited which brings together the PD101 fans and NU'EST fans. Also, Kaeun did okay on PD101 and they might do something with her. Seventeen will continue to be one of the best and most popular (my opinion) best Kpop boy band. And there is anticipation that Pristin is going to come back early next year and have at least 2 comebacks if not as many as 4.

The best song of the year is Time for the Moon Night by GFriend. As a musical composition it stands out like the moon in the night sky.

these shitty lists are way too idol-biased. Apart from Love Scenario, not a single idol song was even close to being as good as Shaun's Way Back Home. There were a few other non-idol songs in 2018 that was far better than 99% of idol songs too, to be fair.

If you're saying Black Pink "DDU-DU DDU-DU" shouldn't be on the list, then BTS "Fake Love" shouldn't be either and that's not the only thing that is wrong with this list.

"my statement isn't arrogant, it's just realistic." --> "acting like their opinion is fact when it's not."

LOL I can't with the hypocrisy asdfhj -- I truly wanted to be done with you but your hypocrisy made me laugh.

Title track 'Fake Love' serves as the strongest single here. In a dark turn from last year’s 'DNA', it’s angsty, moody, and full of torment. It’s arena tour ready and a great addition to their discography.

The single “Fake Love” is a jolt of angst-ridden, arena-ready rap-rock. In a just world, it will zip into the Top 40 – no remix required.

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-album-rev...

From start-to-finish, “Fake Love” sounds like a legitimate hit. The chorus is catchy, the vocals are lush, and the energy, while subdued in comparison to some past efforts, is still absolutely intoxicating. It reflects recent pop music trends without sounding exactly like anything else. With credible pop-rap, engaging hooks and a lyrical concept accessible even to those who cannot follow the Korean portion, it relentlessly (and consistently) presents itself as an appealing, commercially viable record. But while it unquestionably stands on its own, it still feels specific. It still captures the essence of BTS. The progression of the composition and soaring production still offer the theatrical, experiential feel BTS fans have come to appreciate. The vocal delivery may be more broadly accessible than that found on past singles, but it never suggests this song is being performed by a markedly changed or neutered band.

https://headlineplanet.com/home/2018/05/19/bts-new...

"Fake Love" is the lead single of their new album, and it truly captures the theme of their latest studio offering, in a way that is clearly expressed. It is sonically and lyrically powerful, and it embodies the emotions of saying goodbye in a raw yet sincere fashion. Most impressive about "Fake Love" is that it combines elements of pop, hip hop, grunge, trap rock and adult contemporary music. "Fake Love" showcases a darker sentimentality of their music, where a love that was once believed to be destiny turned out to be fake in the end.

The song opens with a stunner of a hook. Its breathy, distorted delivery and serpentine melody provide a gorgeous texture that compels with the same energy as 2016’s lethal Blood, Sweat and Tears. Fake Love‘s titular chorus immediately follows, bringing a grittier soundscape as guitar enters the fray. These two segments are the sharpest weapons in the track’s arsenal, blending genres in a way that feels forward thinking even as it embraces current trends. I can’t overstate how much I love the grungy guitar that drives each chorus. It lends necessary fullness to the instrumental’s more skeletal trap influences.

Of course there are some mixed and negative reviews about FL as well, and these are just some music critics' opinions. But YOUR opinion is also just an opinion. At least have the decency and humility to acknowledge that. There might be many songs better than FL out there but it doesn't mean FL is a bad song.

4D, Idc anymore, I was just giving you a perspective that it has some charm you might fail to recognize but whatever. Think however you want to, if you're happy with that. You're always right, don't you know that? I think you know that tho, cz you're obviously acting like you do.

PS: I'm replying here cz there's not enough space down there.

I think your reply should be which one... Because you don't even know if the person is talking about the fake love itself... And POC..... Fake love won't get so much attention if it was bad... The lyrics and all has a very great and deep meaning.... People who chose songs have what they see before choosing... We can't just sit here and start crying a song ain't good when we don't even know a button on MIDI
