Song Hye Kyo talked about the age gap between her and Park Bo Gum.
On November 21, the press conference for the new tvN drama 'Boyfriend' took place at Imperial Palace Seoul.
'Boyfriend' gained great attention for its star-studded cast, and also for the lead actors' big age gap. Song Hye Kyo is 38-years-old, while Park Bo Gum is 26-years-old.
Regarding the 12 year gap, Song Hye Kyo commented, "When I was first given the role, there was a lot of talk about the age so I worried that it might be overwhelming," however, "It'll be an issue if we were the same age in the drama but it's clearly a younger man-older woman relationship so I felt less overwhelmed." Song Hye Kyo added, "I tried my best to make it not overwhelming for the viewers."

The first episode of 'Boyfriend' is airing on November 28.
