EXID admit they have many complaints for their agency

EXID
EXID shared the complaints they have for their agency Banana Culture.

On November 28, EXID made a full group appearance on MBC Every1's 'Weekly Idol' for the first time in 2 years.

During the show, the members went through a lie detector test. To the statement, "I am satisfied with my agency," Hyerin replied, "No." Her answer revealed to be true.

Hyerin commented, "This is accurate," and explained, "I was always dissatisfied at how we weren't able to show varying sides of us throughout the 7 years." LE also said, "They can make mistakes, but they don't offer any apology."

ive should've known..they were forced to keep a distant image, a strong and sexy woman type but. its so clear that Hani is the bimbo, LE is the bad girl, Solji is the mommy type, Jeonghwa is the child and hyerin is the goofball...their music is amazing but at their age and the stage of their carreer maybe they wanna show themselves as who they truly are..

I don't think you even know what bimbo means. Hani is a dork and her being sexy is the agency's idea.

I think they will renew their contracts. The have had steady work for the past few years, Hani has yet to release her much-anticipated solo, and I can see a world tour happening for them, as they are very popular overseas.

Yeah they pretty much kept a regular cadence with their music release. They're getting a bit long on the tooth as far as girl groups go but they are getting steady work compared to their other peers and remain relatively successful.

They either have a bad relationship with their agency and are fed up or they have a very open one, that allows them to drag it in public.

I guess we will find out when it’s contract renewal time.

If a YG group said this, haters would have a field day. Lmao. They'd call for the group to leave YG or say that YG is the worst CEO but it's about another agency so they'll ignore it for the purpose of their argument.

I doubt they'll disband but they might join another agency or start their own. Girl groups usually disband because some of the members want to focus on other careers but from what I can tell, all of the members of EXID seem to really love music/singing. Plus they all seem super close so I doubt they would ditch each other just to go solo.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I sure as hell hope not - we can hope their now-(semi-)secure(r) position can allow them to ask for a better deal for all members when re-negotiation time rolls around.

Because hey - if BC can't keep them together, they're no better than some of the other awful, awful agencies out there now *cough* TSE *cough*.............
(And to not have EXID around as a group would really make me sad and grumpy.)

Not necessarily. If EXID continue to rake in revenue for them (do they even have any other big acts signed under the company?) and if they're smart, they can turn that comment several ways with the right PR or just ignore it completely or don't let it play in the media. Sure, the girls might get some earful but I think they're big enough that they can throw their weight around and be left unscathed.
