Dok2 shared the unfortunate news of the passing of his pet dog Gureum.
On October 12, Dok2 shared about Gureum's death on an Instagram story. He stated, "9-year-old Gureum died from medical malpractice... He was hospitalized after receiving hip surgery. After everyone left work, the doctor injected the baby with general anesthesia and underwent another surgery without the owner's consent, just because he didn't like how the first surgery turned out... Such nonsensical incidents should never happen ... Gureum-ah, rest easy in heaven. Freely run and have fun with Candal."
Dok2 is known to be a huge animal lover who lives with several cats and dogs.
