Hara and her hairstylist ex-boyfriend have been making headlines for their assault controversy. South Korea's laws on revenge porn have also�become a hot issue as Hara revealed Choi threatened her with private videos.�
Unfortunately, the current South Korean law fails to protect the victims of revenge porn. According to politician Kim Kyung Jin�on MBC's 'Section TV', "Currently, there's no way of punishing the person who leaked private videos (if both people agreed to film it). So we're working to reform the law so that a person can get a minimum of 3 years in prison�for just leaking the videos."
