Nam Joo Hyuk opened up about his past financial hardships.
On the September 19 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star', Nam Joo Huk revealed he grew up in a poor family. He said, "In the past, my family had a difficult time and it was really hard. In 3rd grade, I ate cupnoodles for a year. We didn't even have a bathroom in our home."
However, Nam Joo Hyuk shared he's now able to treat his parents and even make donations to his school.
Hearing this, Jo In Sungshared, "Joo Hyuk ended up crying while talking with Cha Tae Hyun hyung." Nam Joo Hyuk explained, "I don't know why but I suddenly cried. My situation wasn't that great to age 21 even when I was modeling. Things got a bit better after 'School 2015'," and said, "My mom is able to comfortably use the card now."
