Lim Soo Hyang and ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, currently appearing as the female lead Kang Mi Rae and male lead Do Kyung Suk of JTBC's 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty', chose some of their personal favorite scenes so far in the series!
First, Lim Soo Hyang named scenes depicting Mi Rae's gradual journey toward overcoming her fear of people's degrading stares. One scene she chose detailed Mi Rae's phonecall with her mom after the mini talent show during orientation, where she told her mom, "People like me, mom." Lim Soo Hyang commented, "It was the first moment where Mi Rae felt what it was like to be loved by people, so it was special."
Next, Lim Soo Hyang also pinpointed out Mi Rae's aegyo scene while shopping for her handmade candle ingredients! The actress chose this scene because "she is slowly speaking up with her own voice, revealing little bits of her much more brighter and lovable personality on the inside." The last scene Lim Soo Hyang picked was of Mi Rae telling off her former middle school crush - a scene loved by many viewers also.
In Cha Eun Woo's case, he named one specific scene - where Kyung Suk thanks Mi Rae under their shared umbrella for telling him to visit his mother in the hospital. Cha Eun Woo remarked, "It's like he hasn't quite realized it yet so he calls Mi Rae his 'friend', but he ends up asking her on a date all because of his jealousy toward Woo Young sunbae. The scene is most memorable to me because Kyung Suk is revealing his inner feelings for the first time, since having friends or having romantic feelings is all new and difficult for him. You can feel that his past wounds are slowly starting to heal thanks to Mi Rae."๏ฟฝ
