'Boy de Chanel
' will be revealed officially on September 1st and will consist of a number of cosmetic products for men, including lip balm, eyebrow pencils, and foundation.
According to the actor's agency, this is the very first time that a Korean celebrity has been chosen to model for Chanel rather than act as a brand ambassador.
"Chanel chose Lee Dong Wook for his stylish and confident masculine image, which they determined was a good fit for 'Boy de Chanel,'" they added. "Lee Dong Wook receives a large amount of love from not only Korea, but all over Asia including Japan, China, and Southeast Asia, so we expect positive effects [from this decision]."
'Boy de Chanel' products are schedule to appear in Korea first before being available online starting in November and in stores by January of next year.
