Cosmic Girls'�Meiqi and Xuanyi can't legally leave the Chinese 'Produce 101' girl group Rocket Girls, according to the show's producers.�

On the night of August 9, Chinese 'Produce 101' and Rocket Girls responded to Meiqi and Xuanyi's departure news on their official�Weibo accounts.�

The post stated,�"There is no legal evidence supporting Yuehua Entertainment's contract termination announcement." It continued, "There is no legal evidence supporting the reasons behind their contract termination. We hope they respect our exclusive management rights of Meiqi and Xuanyi."�


Prior to this, Yuehua Entertainment announced Meiqi and Xuanyi are leaving Rocket Girls due to an unreasonable and unmanageable schedule.�
