7 Breakup K-pop Songs To Cry To

misc.
1. One of These Nights - Red Velvet
This is such an emotional song and the video itself is so gorgeously done that we can't help but feel a little somber. Wendy, in particular, has amazing vocals that really tug the heartstrings. The video is a slight homage to the tragic Sewol Ferry tragedy, which makes us all the more emotional.
2. Please Don't... - K.will
This is a breakup CLASSIC. No matter how far in the future we stray from its original release year, we keep turning back to K.will! The iconic plot-line of the music video is another reason we come back. The video is relatable and dramatic, everything we need post-breakup.
3. I Don't Love You - Urban Zakapa
The lyrics and story of the mv tell the story of someone who is faking his 'deep love' for his girlfriend. The lack of affection is something that many who are going through breakups painfully endure. Urban Zakapa's songs are always straightforward and beautifully written.
4. Bad Boy - Big Bang
This song talks about the constant fighting between couples and how they're bad boys and mean to their "good girl" lady. "Baby don't leave me, I know you still love me. Why, yes, I'll tell you the truth, I need you." Can you believe it's already been 6 years since the release of this song?
5. Time Lapse - Taeyeon
No such thing as a breakup playlist without Taeyeon! Taeyeon's beautiful vocals on "Time Lapse". Her pain and hurt come through extremely evidently on this track and by the end of the song, you want to hunt down whoever hurt her and give them a piece of your mind.
6. It's Over - Pentagon
Pentagon's "It's Over" is about loving someone until the very end and unconditionally trying your hardest to make it work, but eventually deciding to break up because it's what's best. A beautiful song about an extremely relatable situation.
7. Downpour - I.O.I.
I.O.I.'s "Downpour" is another must-add to the breakup songs playlist. "Downpour" is a soft piano ballad that highlights each member's abilities and vocal styles and the gorgeous lyrics are to die for on this track. Bonus: the music video is totally an emotional roller coaster.
