In the morning of July 10 KST, Super Junior's Ryeowook met with fans and the press to announce his discharge from the military!
Joined by fellow Super Junior members Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Donghae, and Siwon, Ryeowook greeted, "Hello. I have returned from soldier Kim Ryeowook to regular citizen Kim Ryeowook, and Super Junior's Kim Ryeowook. Thank you all for coming, and I will promote actively, so please cheer me on and also cheer on Super Junior."
When Leeteuk asked, "Which girl group gave you the most strength?" Ryeowook responded, "Too many. In truth, when our [Super Junior] members come out on TV, the other soldiers change the channel. But if I'm there, they can't. I watched so much Red Velvet, TWICE, Black Pink, Momoland, AOA, and many more girl groups. I want to see them. I will take care of my hoobaes well."
What does Ryeowook want to do most, now that he's out of the army? "I want to go travel with my members. Previously, we traveled to Germany, Italy, and Greece together, and I want to travel more. I also sang a lot as part of the army band, and now I want to sing on stage as Super Junior very much."
Finally, Ryeowook also said, "I wanted to return as a real man, but another member is already in charge of that so I will greet you as being in charge of the good voice." The idol also joked that he would be remembering the names of the members who did not come to welcome him back for revenge later on.
Welcome back, Ryeowook!
