Red Velvet's Seulgi opened up about her hard times before debut.
On the June 15 airing of JTBC4's 'Secret Unnie', Seulgi and Sunmi�had a sincere talk before going to bed. Seulgi recalled her trainee days and shared, "I got into the agency through my singing but I went through a slump because my voice wouldn't come out. I couldn't sing so I switched to dancing."
She continued, "More and more talented kids kept coming into the agency but I even had vocal cord nodules. At the time, I didn't want anyone to hear my voice so I used to practice in an empty practice room by myself."
Seulgi also revealed, "During promotions, there are many times when I go, 'Is that really myself on TV?'"
