On June 29, tvN announced, "The fifth season of tvN's 'New Journey to the West' is starting up. We are discussing members to replace former member Super Junior's Kyuhyun. We're deciding whether to change up the entire cast lineup or continue with Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hyun, and WINNER's Song Min Ho."
'New Journey to the West' follows the cast members as they explore cities abroad. Season 5 will likely start filming in August, but the location has yet to be decided.
