tvN's new organic food variety series 'Food Diary' revealed a brief first preview clip for its first season - the dakbokkeumtang (braised spicy chicken) edition.
The aim of the show is to allow its cast members to see and experience how much hard work goes into producing each of the ingredients of dishes people eat in everyday life. The cast, which includes Lee Soo Geun, Seo Jang Hoon, BoA, NCT's Taeyong, Oh My Girl's YooA, Park Sung Kwang, and Niklas Klabunde, will not only attempt to plant and harvest all of the vegetable ingredients of dakbokkeumtang, but it looks like they might also attempt to raise the chickens from the eggs.
In the first episode preview above, the cast members watched a baby chick hatching from their eggs inside tiny incubators until one chick escapes and falls off. Do you think the cast is raising the chicks specifically to cook them when they eventually turn into chickens?
