Hara opened up about her values in life and goals for 2018 in an interview for the April issue of 'Cosmopolitan'.

On showing up on time, Hara shared, "I've always been the kind of person who was on time ever since I was young. If I break time commitments, I feel like I seem pathetic." She continued, "I think the first thing you could do to earn someone's trust is to show up on time. My time and the other party's time are both precious."
As for her goals this year, she expressed, "I want to be able to speak English as much as I'm comfortable communicating in Japanese. I want to consistently study and be able to speak with foreigners comfortably in any space. I'd also like to go visit other countries."
