Brown Eyed Girls reached out to their fans with a handwritten letter on the girl group's 12th anniversary.

On March 2, Brown Eyed Girls leader JeA posted the below letter to fans on their fan cafe:

"Hello, this is the Brown Eyed Girls. Our fans! It's been a long time, right? Do you know what today is? It's Brown Eyed Girls' 12-year anniversary. Leader JeA is putting the four members' hearts together to write this letter, so we can repay the love and support our fans have given us during these long 12 years in a small way.

Our maknae is already 32 years old. Through the years, there were happy things that happened and not so happy things, but the encouragement from you all who've been with us this whole time has always been a big strength for us. Though we're happiest when showing you all a performance that we prepared our hardest for, we're remembering more of the smaller things as we write this letter and think back since we've been together for so long.

Even in the days when we finished our harsh schedules and couldn't say goodbye properly before leaving, you were always in our hearts, so we would look back at your in the car with our necks twisted back until we couldn't see you anymore. We were able to work hard every moment because of your happiness and the way you all smiled at us as if you had everything in the world for every small event we prepared. We also saw the billboard at Samseong station commemorating our 12-year anniversary. We were very touched. Thank you so much, and we'll work hard to repay that love.

We now have the type of relationship where we don't have to say a lot to you all for you to know how we feel, and this is a time when waiting is the hardest thing to do. Throughout this time, we think it's amazing, and we're very grateful every time we see our fans cheering us on like our family. As we go beyond the relationship between artists and fans, you all have given us strength as you stuck by us, and we hope this continues. We've only spent 12 years together, so let's go all the way together! We love you! We love you! We love you!
