Daesung has hinted at a full Big Bang reunion in celebration of the group’s 19th anniversary.
On August 15, his YouTube channel ZIP DAESUNG released a new video titled 'An AI is Now in Control of ZIP DAESUNG.'
In the video, Daesung revealed that he has tried using ChatGPT. When asked if he had installed the app, he jokingly replied, “I live in Seoul,” drawing laughs. He explained that he uses ChatGPT for studying English by inputting lessons and practicing repeatedly. However, when asked whether he consults it for personal advice, he dismissed the idea humorously: “Why would I do that? What would it know? All answers are inside me. It’s just a program that shuts down when you extract code.”
Daesung also shared his concern about declining YouTube views, asking, “Why aren’t the numbers coming up lately?” The AI candidly suggested that his content may feel less genuine than before, show an attempt to make quick money, or lack clear appeal. It recommended ways to boost views, such as performing solo skits, spending casual time with close friends, or filming a café vlog.
Opening his phone, Daesung admitted that his recent contacts are mostly his fellow Big Bang members. “Maybe just the military Big Bang group?” he said, later adding, “Even the Five Eagles group barely contacts me now,” referring to notifications from various brands, with his last personal contact being about a month ago.
Following the AI’s suggestions, Daesung took to the streets to try them out. While filming a café vlog, he joked that it likely wouldn’t attract many views, estimating a realistic 120,000 views, eliciting laughter.
The video concluded with a teaser for Big Bang’s 19th-anniversary celebration. Daesung, G-Dragon, and Taeyang were shown together, singing “Happy 19th Anniversary, Big Bang” as they celebrated the milestone.
