On February 6 KST, Xiumin posted a lengthy message on EXO's official fan cafe about his decision to stop accepting gifts. First, the idol hinted at EXO's comeback, stating he's not on a break but busily working as "2018 will be busier than last year!!"
He then got to his main point, and stated, "Honestly, it's out of nowhere and I'm very very sorry but I'm here to share a message for you guys. The gifts you send to me! I really appreciate them and I well used them and I'm able to live sufficiently thanks to them. In my mind, I just want to accept all of them considering your kind hearts but aigoo... What can I Do...? There's no room to walk in my home... TT I will just get straight to the point. From now on, I'll just accept your kind hearts... I mean, that's all I want;; To be honest, I believe there are no better presents than love and attention. I'm more desperate and desire for your love than the materialistic things!! Aren't I selfish? Haha;;"

Xiumin then apologized to anyone who's disappointed by his decision and promised he will work harder this year.
He sweetly ended the post, stating, "Let's meet soon~ (I won't make you wait too long) I love you."
