Kim Se Jung responds to rumors stating she was aware of her win at 'KBS Drama Awards' ahead of time

At the recent 'KBS Drama Awards', Kim Se Jung was awarded 'Best New Actress'. The idol star took out a 'cheat sheet' during her award speech. Seeing how Kim Se Jung prepared for her speech, rumors stated that she was aware of her win ahead of time.�

On the January 18 airing of KBS 'Happy Together 3', Kim Se Jung spoke up about the issue and said, "I was awarded at both entertainment and drama awards. When I received an award at 'SBS Entertainment Awards', it was totally unexpected so I just mumbled (during my award speech) and went off the stage. So, for the 'KBS Drama Awards', I prepared a list of people who I wanted to thank, just in case I really do win. So when I won 'Best New Actress', I took out the paper and read it but my manager scolded me for it. He said, 'People might think you already knew about your win if you take out a cheat sheet and read it.'"

However, Kim Se Jung emphasized, "I'm here to explain that. I really did not know (that I was going to win) and I made the sheet just in case I did. I hope there aren't any misunderstandings."
