On January 23, an exclusive report by Joy News 24 stated that Kang Ho Dong has completed recording for the EDM trot song "Kicked Your Luck" (literal translation) produced by singer Hong Jin Young. The report stated comedian Yoo Se Yoon has also taken part.

To Xports News, Kang Ho Dong's agency, SM C&C, confirmed the report and revealed, "Kang Ho Dong did sing the EDM trot song "Kicked Your Luck" produced by Hong Jin Young."
"Kicked Your Luck" was first introduced on JTBC's 'Knowing Brother' back in October. Hong Jin Young explained the song is for Kang Ho Dong, and the MC agreed to be the singer for its official release. The track will be officially coming in mid-February.
Prior to this, Hong Jin Young has successfully promoted her EDM trot song "Ring Ring" with comedian Kim Young Chul.
