Back in November 2017, BTS made history by performing at the 'American Music Awards' and appearing on multiple American talk shows.�

During a recent interview with Yonhap News, BTS revealed that their segment on the shows actually got extended because of their powerful fandom.�

RM explained, "Originally, we were supposed to just briefly perform on all 3 shows but after hearing the fans' loud chants and reactions on the spot, games and talk segments with the MC were added."

He continued, "There was no talk segment scheduled with Ellen but after seeing our fans, Ellen said, 'We need to do something' and created a talk segment. That is the power of our fans."

Jin expressed a bit of regret as he added, "All of us wanted to say at least one thing so we asked the translator hyung�and memorized words and phrases but we weren't able to talk well on the actual show."
