Yoon Kye Sang has taken legal action against a netizen falsely accusing him of tax evasion.
On December 5, Yoon Kye Sang's agency Saram Entertainment announced, "We've taken legal action against netizen 'A' for defamation of character as s/he continuously made posts accusing Yoon Kye Sang of tax evasion."
Since November 2016, netizen 'A' has made posts on social media with the hashtag #YoonKyeSangTaxEvasion and even shared photos of having a one-man demonstration against Yoon Kye Sang at Gwanghwamun.
Saram Entertainment claimed the netizen started sharing more of the false accusations as Yoon Kye Sang's popularity increased with the success of the film 'The Outlaws'.
Currently, the case is being investigated by Mapo Police Department in Seoul.
