Shinhwa's Hyesung, who won the grand prize daesang award last year, made a guest appearance on the program dressed in a neat tuxedo. He even brought the award he won last year and showed it off once again.

The rising star award went to girl group Red Velvet as Big Bang won the 'King-General-God's Masterpiece Moment' award, usually given to the most legendary or popular group.

Shinhwa, GOT7, Highlight, and TWICE were also nominated for the award.� With that, the MCs decided to visit YG Entertainment, however, Big Bang was not present on site due to their tour schedules. Jung Hyung Don decided to call up G-Dragon but realized he didn't have the star's number because he changed his phone number.

He then asked one of the security guards, "Where is Big Bang? We're celebs, can we go inside?"� �The security officer responded, "Big Bang isn't here right now."

Wanna One was also awarded the 'Idol Champ Award' and the presenters couldn't hand them the award in person.

However, they were able to hand the awards to Super Junior and iKON in person. Super Junior won the 'Best 2x Dance Award' and iKON won the 'Best Acapella Award'.

As for the grand prize daesang award, Hyesung randomly picked out INFINITE who didn't have any promotions in 2017, causing much laughter.
