Girls' Generation's Taeyeon has canceled her fansign event. 
Taeyeon was originally scheduled to attend a fansign event hosted by the cosmetic brand she models for on December 19. However, the idol canceled her attendance following the sudden news about the death of SHINee's Jonghyun.
Regarding the cancelation, the cosmetic brand stated, "Taeyeon canceled the event due to an inevitable situation."
The two SM artists have collaborated together in the past and have been maintaining a close friendship.
Meanwhile, SM Entertainment issued an official statement regarding the death of Jonghyun.
