On the December 27 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star', Han Hyun Min shared, "The younger brother that appeared on the hit drama is 9-years-old. Our family has 5 siblings. I'm the oldest. My dongsaengs are 9, 7, 5, and 4-years-old."

He added, "When I was in pre-school, I was an only child and got bored so I told my mom I want a dongsaeng and I really did get one. But then I wanted another one. So we got a third child in the family but then we kept getting more."
Onto more about his younger brother on 'Descendants of the Sun', Han Hyun Min said, "He was the one that Song Hye Kyo sunbaenim wiped the face for." Han Hyun Min also shared that his younger siblings know how to speak English unlike him.
