On the December 19 airing of MBC Every1's 'Video Star', ballad singer Han Dong Geun talked about how he almost debuted as an idol.
MC Park So Hyun�asked Han Dong Geun, "I heard you almost became a member of Seventeen." Han Dong Geun replied, "That's what I heard, too."
He explained, "My agency (Pledis Entertainment) told me to try dance practice with them. So I went to dance practice but the choreographer told me to never dance again."�

Han Dong Geun then showed affection for his labelmates and said, "I don't practice anymore. I just watch Seventeen's videos and read their articles. I also leave comments."
