On November 15, she sat down inside a cafe in Seoul for an interview with OSEN, commenting, "Although I am single, I am trying my best to date often."
When asked if she was currently seeing anyone, Nana mentioned, "I don't have a boyfriend at the moment. I find it hard to meet a good person," she confessed.
Nana added that actress Jeon Do Yeon is her acting mentor and relayed how the veteran actress suggested she go on dates often and meet many people.

Onto her acting career, Nana said, "Even while I was performing with After School members, I had many chances to audition. However, I missed those opportunities...I have learned to appreciate acting and to present an earnest stance."
