Broadcast on October 23, JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' featured H.O.T and Sechskies reminiscing about the fierce rivalry between the two idol groups during the 90s.
Sechskies' Kim Jae Duk and Tony An confessed they were both rivals in the past. The H.O.T member explained, "The rivalry between fandoms were quite intense. There's a particular scene in 'Reply 1997' where fans break out into a fight and I personally witnessed such an incident in real life."
Kim Jae Duk commented, "This fan came over to me and said, 'Oppa, I fought three H.O.T fans and I won. This may seem a bit graphic but I think she was bleeding. I remember telling her she did a good job nonetheless. I felt a great sense of pride back then."
