On September 28, his agency KeyEast finally confirmed Kim Soo Hyun's enlistment date, stating, "Kim Soo Hyun will be enlisting for his mandatory military service on October 23. As a citizen of South Korea, he will be fulfilling his obligation to serve in the military. He will be quietly enlisting without any formal events, including a press conference or fan meeting."
