PRISTIN change up lyrics to 'We Like', possibly due to criticism

On the August 24 episode of 'M! Countdown', the portion of the lyrics sung by Rena and Yuha stated, "I'll pick out what I want to eat, but I'll also take care of the bill. You don't see this often, you'll be more attracted to someone like me." 

Then, on the August 25 episode of 'Music Bank', the same portion of the lyrics read, "I'll pick out what I want to eat, and I'll also take care of the bill. After all, I'm the type to be straightforward about what I like and don't like." 

Pledis Entertainment has issued no statement on why the lyrics were changed. Some netizens speculated that the lyrics were criticized for alleging that it's difficult to see a woman paying the bill. Netizens also pointed out that the new, changed lyrics sounded better than the original ones.
