Lee Hyori goes bare with a no-makeup pictorial in 'W Korea'

Just when fans thought she couldn't get any bolder, the singer went full circle in order to express her true and honest character. Photographer Kim Tae Eun explained, "Lee Hyori wanted to shoot without any makeup on. When I said, 'Let's just even out the skin tone', she rebelled, saying, 'Then it's all meaningless. I just want to put on lotion and go."

Photographer Kim further complimented, "I was so proud to see such an artist, woman, and person like her existed in our country. With that, I managed to dust off my film camera and prepared for the photo shoot. I filmed thinking that we can become beautiful living in a world full of deception. I felt happy for the first time in a long time."�

The styling director also shared, "She said she was going to pose with a bare face. �Although she sounded confident, she appeared a bit hesitant at times. We were able to capture her entire bare self without any fancy makeup or special effects from every blemish, wrinkle, bruise, and dent on her body. I'm actually still in the process of getting to know her, and I must say I've fallen for her yet again this time."
