Wanna One's Kang Daniel told the story behind his famous "thigh slide dance" on the August 8th episode of SBS' 'Entertainment News Tonight'.
Kang Daniel explained, "To be honest, I had no idea I'd come in first place. I thought I'd be okay as long as I get into the top 11." As for his infamous thigh dance, he revealed, "I didn't practice it at all."
He went on, "Kahi teacher said, 'It's your part. You should come out and do something.' It made me think, 'I should do something,' and the move came out spontaneously."
