He wrote, "I started modeling this as a joke but I thought it would be fun to actually make it, so I made it. The lightstick is pretty, but the girly design makes it kind of weird for an ahjussi to carry around, and the top part is weak, so I didn't want to just toss it in a bag. So I made a Doomhammer case for the lightstick." His motivation for the design was Doomhammer from Warcraft.

His end result (produced via 3-D printing according to online posts) actually turned out pretty impressive, and it definitely looks like quite a sturdy case for the lightstick!
The post went viral because of the high quality of the creation, but some netizens thought it might actually catch more attention, not to mention that the pink handle was still very visible.
