Once again, numerous K-pop acts held performances the fans will never forget at the 'a-nation 2017' concert.
'a-nation 2017' concert is one of the biggest music festivals in Japan which took place on August 26 and 27 and held over 55,000 people at the Ajinomoto Stadium. Out of the whole lineup, only six Korean acts were invited to perform: EXO, NCT 127, Red Velvet, iKON, Daesung, and Black Pink.
On the first day, SM Entertainment artists had the opportunity to perform in front of thousands in attendance while the YG Entertainment artists took the stage on the second day.
This was Red Velvet's first time performing at the event but despite the lack of experience in the event, the group performed very well. They performed all their hit songs such as "Dumb Dumb", "Russian Roulette", "Rookie", and "Red Flavor" for the crowd. Check out the full performance just below.
NCT 127 also impressed the audience with their powerful performances. They had the chance to promote their songs "Good Thing", "Cherry Bomb", "Fire Truck", and "Limitless".
EXO was able to capture the hearts of thousands in attendance by performing six songs but also interacted with the fans closely by speaking Japanese. They performed "Ko Ko Bop", "Monster", "Coming Over", "Lotto", "Drop That", and "Don't Go/Butterfly Girl". Check out the performances below.
For the second day of the festival, YG Entertainment artists got ready to go. Black Pink started it off and before they even stepped onto the stage, the whole crowd started to cheer and got extremely excited. Black Pink performed "Playing With Fire", "Whistle", "Boombayah", and "As If It's Your Last".
iKON performed on the stage next and as usual, the group stepped on the stage confidently as fans can be heard shouting and cheering on the group. With their fluent Japanese, they were also able to interact and communicate with the fans who came out to support them. The group performed "Rhythm Ta", "B-Day Bling", "Dumb & Dumber", "Bling Bling", and "My Type".
Lastly, Big Bang's Daesung stepped onto the stage and performed passionately for the whole crowd. He clearly showed his experience and veteran status as he joked around and had fun on the stage while the audience continued to support him. He performed "Wings", "Venus", and "D-Day".
