On July 27, actor Song Joong Ki made a guest appearance on JTBC's 'Newsroom', where he discussed his new film 'Battleship Island', and also expressed his affection toward girlfriend/actress Song Hye Kyo!
Toward the end of his interview, the news anchor said, "You were asked to select the closing song for today's show. After pondering for two days, you finally requested the theme song from the classic film 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.'"

Song Joong Ki responded, "I actually watched the film for the very first time a few months ago. And I thought that it was a very good movie, and the theme song kept playing over and over in my head. To be honest, it also happens to be my girlfriend's favorite song."
