Broadcasted on July 25, tvN's 'The List' featured professionals selecting the top stars in which the big agencies missed out on over the years.

Ranking in first place was none other than SM Entertainment missing out on singer Lee Hyori.  Before her initial debut, Lee Hyori was a huge fan of H.O.T and was scouted as an SM trainee by H.O.T's manager due to her striking appearance.

However, later on, Lee Hyori left SM and was preparing to make her debut with fellow singer Yoon Mi Rae as Uptown Girls under World Music Agency.  This time, DSP Media had an eye on Lee Hyori because of her unique talents and decided to recruit her after much discussion with World Music agency.  From then on, Lee Hyori debuted in the first generation idol girl group Fin.K.L.

Trailing behind second place was SM Entertainment again as they missed out on Big Bang's G-Dragon.  The professionals scrutinized his back story.  Entering a dance competition at the age of 13, G-Dragon was recruited by Lee Soo Man where he spent five years as an SM trainee.  However, he coincidentally discovered Wu-Tang Clan's music and became interested in rap music and decided to become a rapper instead.

Following this, G-Dragon went on to take hip-hop lessons at an academy where he was discovered by Yang Hyun Suk.  After leaving SM in 2002, G-Dragon became a trainee under hip-hop based YG Entertainment.  With that, he made his debut as the leader of Big Bang after six years.

Actor Park Bo Gum also was named on the list at number three as numerous agencies missed out on him.  He had mentioned that his dream originally was to become a singer on KBS 2TV '1 Night and 2 Days'.  The actor stated that he had previously sent demo tapes to big agencies such as SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment, however, received a call back from Blossom Entertainment first and the rest is history.

JYP Entertainment and former 2NE1 member CL took charge of 4th place.  Having been a JYP trainee before debuting under YG Entertainment, CL practiced dancing alongside former Wonder Girls' Sun and SECRET's Hana. She had also spent her trainee days with 2PM and 2AM members.

Having been a huge fan of YG producer Teddy, CL sent a demo tape and actively participated in the YG audition.  Finally, she went on to debut as 2NE1 once her training days were over.

Meanwhile, actress Goo Hye Sun ranked 5th place and Highlight's Doojoon at 6th and EXID's Hani in 7th place, respectively.
