On the July 20 airing of 'Life Bar', Yonghwa shared about the controversy. He thought back to the difficult time and said, "All kinds of thoughts ran through my mind. I've never experienced anything like that."

He continued, "I felt sorry for my peers and my mother."

Yonghwa also revealed that he stayed at home to avoid trouble. He explained, "I didn't want to get [anymore] involved. I tried to focus solely on my business. And that's also why I don't have many friends."

He reflected on the controversy and said, ''With the unexpected incident, I realized that I need to be thankful for the fans, peers, and others who trust in me. I came to sincerely appreciate the things I've forgotten during promotions, the things I was annoyed about, and the schedules I took for granted."
