Back in 2012, Kim Nam Hyung and Jung Dong Soo made their debut in the quintet Offroad. The group has been on hiatus since 'Head Banging' in March of 2013.
This year, Kim Nam Hyung and Jung Dong Soo participated in Mnet 'Produce 101' season 2, where they got eliminated with the final rankings 36th and 52nd, respectively.

The two trainees will now be re-debuting as the duo AA.
On June 23, S How Entertainment announced, "The two plan to release an album with self-composed songs in August after completing their schedule in the Phillippines and a fan meeting in July. AA will go beyond Offroad promotions and promote mainly in Korea and show a variety of new sides. We will work to create a channel that allows them to effectively and actively communicate with their fans."
