Mnet has released an official statement regarding 'Produce 101' season 2, after the mayhem caused by rumors that the final group to debut at the end of the show may not consist of 11-members.

The broadcasting station said, "The number of members for the final debut group on the show will be 11; it's been confirmed. The final live broadcast benefits will take place as planned, while for the 2nd pick, you will have to check the broadcast."
Previously, it was revealed that Mnet had been debating on whether or not to keep the debut group's number of members at 11.
On this week's 'Produce 101' season 2 airing June 9, trainees will be sitting in for the 3rd elimination announcements.
